Visit the Macià Batle Cellar
Macià Batle is a winery of Majorcan origin. In 1856 it began to produce wine from its own vineyards, located in Biniali. In 1997 descendants of Macià Batle built the winery in Santa Maria del Camí to focus the winery on a fusion of tradition and modernity. In 2003 the businessman Sebastià Rubí acquired the Bodegas Macià Batle and in 2005 the winery was expanded and established itself as the benchmark for quality wine in Mallorca. These wineries are committed to the uniqueness of local grapes and their valuable combination with international varieties.
During the visit to the Macià Batle winery you will learn about the production processes of the wines from the journey that the grapes make during the harvest season during their vinification. You will be guided through the fermentation areas with their respective tanks, the bottling area, and later through the cellar chambers with oak barrels and the last part of the ageing area with the bottles at rest. At the end of the visit you will enjoy a tasting of 4 wines, combined with self-made Majorcan delicacies, such as extra virgin olive oils, a balsamic vinegar and an exquisite pâté.
